FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is the high school division of FIRST Robotics, providing the most advanced and competitive robotics experience with full-scale robots and professional-level challenges.


  • WHO High school students, Grades 9th - 12th
  • WHERE Philomath High School
  • WHEN FRC teams meet and compete during winter. Competitions take place in March and early April. Practices are Monday through Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30pm and Saturdays from 9am to 4pm. FRC competes about 2 to 3 times in a season. Competitions are regional (e.g. Salem, Oregon City) and can last 2 to 3 days. Transportation is provided.
